What we did
Move Consulting delivered a structured review and co-development process, bringing together evidence, local insight and the experience of partners across mental health, public health, physical activity and community services.
We reviewed existing information and engaged with key stakeholders to understand current arrangements, local needs and opportunities for improvement.
Through collaborative workshops and consultation, we supported partners to:

As part of the project we developed practical tools to help local teams map and assess physical activity opportunities. The approach was designed to support partners to maintain accurate information over time, rather than creating a directory that could quickly become outdated.
The project has provided BCUHB with a clear foundation for implementation. Mental health colleagues are now developing an 18-month delivery plan across two identified localities.
The resources developed will help iCAN teams assess provision against good-practice guidance and connect people with local opportunities more confidently and consistently.
