The WRIGHT Foundation approached Move Consulting for support in developing a workforce offer for its client base of fitness professionals and exercise referral specialists to better understand behaviour change in a practical way.
The Challenge
WRIGHT Foundation CIC, a leading training organisation for health and exercise professionals, identified the need to enhance the accessibility and relevance of behaviour change theory for its learner audience. They were seeking a trusted partner to help create engaging, practical content that could be delivered flexibly and at scale.
The Foundation approached Move Consulting to design a high-quality learning offer that could support ongoing professional development, align with industry standards, and be easily embedded into their tutor-led programmes.

Our Approach
Move Consulting collaborated with WRIGHT Foundation to co-design the Behaviour Change Solutions Series—a set of four, one-hour webinars that presented behaviour change theory in an accessible, contextualised, and highly practical format.
Our goal was to ensure each session provided meaningful takeaways for exercise professionals, helping them apply behavioural science in real-world settings. Alongside the webinar series, we supported the development of an orientation process for the Foundation’s tutor workforce, enabling consistent and confident programme delivery under licence.
The series was built to be scalable, modular, and adaptable—offering immediate value to learners and long-term utility for the organisation’s national training programmes.
Move Director, Elaine McNish said:
“The design process focused on clarity, relevance, and practical use. We wanted every session to stand alone while also contributing to a bigger picture of professional development.”
What was delivered

Project impact
The Behaviour Change Solutions Series was delivered to over 200 learners and has since become a valued component of the WRIGHT Foundation’s professional development offer. The licensing model allows for ongoing use by their tutor team, extending the impact of the content and supporting behaviour change understanding across the wider physical activity workforce.
